Well I cant quite get the nerve up to just shave my head but I did go and get my "cancer cut" today. This is the shortest I have had my hair since I was an infant. I had more hair as a three month old than I do now. This hair cut does a good job of disguising the holes of missing hair. You can still see my scalp in many places and I will eventually lose it all but at least this will give me a chance to transition. so....drum roll.....here it is....
As I am trying to come to grips with losing all of my hair, I went and tried on wigs this past week. I will share with you a few pictures from my experience. It was very surreal and I am not sure that I will go this route. I might be more of a hat and scarf type person but nonetheless here is some pics....

I love the next to last one - it looks so cute on you! I admire your strength as I have kept up on your blog. Keeping you and Michael in my prayers-
cute new haircut! i like the 2nd to last wig too. it's so cute and it really looks so natural. my mom said they were really hot and scratchy though!
as soon as my mom's started coming out, she shaved hers. i'm not sure what i would/could do though. i think it'd be so hard to watch it fall out but at the same time, i'd want to keep it as long as i could.
you'd look so cute in hats too though! i have a feeling you could get pretty creative with them!
you, my friend, are so strong. i know your strength comes from the Lord, and i'm sure there have been moments when you just didnt think you could do this anymore...but you can and will.
We are so thankful that you only had to have one round (well...one week) of the 2nd chemo. we continue to pray for remission and recovery! hats. wigs. hair or no hair...you are beautiful and glowing with His glory! thank you for reflecting that!
love and hugs!
I am obsessed with your cute haircut!!!!! You look really cute :)
