imperfection, unfinishedness, and messiness are, in fact, the earmarks of true Christianity

Wow!  I needed to hear that today.  I live a life that is full of imperfection, unfinishedness, and messiness. But the cool thing is I believe that real Christianity is just for people like me.  I just re-read Mike Yaconelli's book Messy Spirituality and it talks about the life of a christian is messy, erratic, lopsided, and gloriously liberating.  I find this so true.  How free to know that there are not a set of rules and regulations to the freedom Christ desires to live within us.  We can live life in an authentic relationship with the creator of life, the creator of nature, and the creator of me.
Wow-- I am ready to rest in this.
Peace-
Macy

Imperfection, unfinishedness, and messiness...those certainly ARE the earmarks of who we are! I'm praising God that He's not finished with me yet, and I think MESSY CHRISTIANITY, although I've not read it yet, verifies that, huh?
